Dining Design Inspiration from the Krause Sawyer Archives
April 15, 2019
A pivotal consideration in tailoring any hospitality experience is design for moments of gathering. One such moment, of course, is the gastronomic and dining experiences that accompany a stay. Our team at Krause Sawyer has had the pleasure of translating our philosophy of natural, organic luxury across multiple restaurant and dining spaces within hotels and cruise ships alike.
Below are a few of our favorite dining projects from the portfolio archives:
Raw on Five Restaurant:
The recently debuted Raw on Five is a fresh sushi and seafood restaurant aboard the Celebrity Edge, which first set sail this past December. The luxury restaurant features a spotlight on the endless panoramic ocean views, encased in organic shapes reminiscent of the undulating sea below.
The New York LaGuardia Marriott's public spaces, including the casual dining area, feature a design concept that mimics traditional craft of the many nationalities represented in New York's Queens borough, using mixed textures and touches of a vibrant color palette.
Marriott Brooklyn Bridge:
Screens utilized at the bar at the Marriott Brooklyn Bridge were designed with a wood frame and a heavy rope detail to represent the historical nearby Brooklyn Navy Yard.
Canopy Midtown Atlanta:
The Canopy Central at the recently debuted Canopy by Hilton Atlanta Midtown is designed to transition throughout the day, from artisanal breakfast in the morning, cocktails and small bites in the afternoon, and finally to a more dynamic, energized space in the evening.
Our team is passionate about conceptualizing culinary spaces, and look forward to more projects in the future.
