"International Design Awards (IDA) exists to recognize, celebrate and promote legendary design visionaries and to uncover emerging talent in Architecture, Interior, Product, Graphic, and Fashion Design. IDA aspires to draw attention to the iconoclasm of design worldwide that is conceptualizing and producing great work."
Opened this past October at the Wharf, a sparkling new multi-use riverside development encompassing hotels, retail, restaurants, and leisure activities, the 175-room Canopy by Hilton (the first ever North American location of Hilton's lifestyle hotel brand) features stunning multi-use public spaces, the Canopy Central cafe and bar, Transfer Lounge, guest retreat with an outdoor garden, guestrooms, suites and corridors that embody Krause Sawyer's signature natural luxury design sensibility. A truly unique property in D.C., Krause Sawyer approached the design by pulling inspiration from the rich history of the area and the transformation of the marina throughout the years.
